TO THE BIBLE
Romans 5:17 NIV
For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.”

LET’S TALK
Observe what Paul points out in the opening verse: we’re to reign in life through Jesus Christ. Some people think this only applies to the future, but that’s not true—it says in life, meaning right here, right now. It’s not just something for later; it’s for today!

From the resurrection of Jesus until the rapture of the Church, this is the time we reign through Him. This is the Church Age, the only period when we have the power to exercise authority through Jesus Christ. After this, we’ll reign with Him but not through Him anymore. These two times— now and later—are different.

During the Millennium, when Jesus rules on earth, we’ll reign with Him. After that, we’ll keep reigning with Him forever. But right now, in this age, we reign through Him, using His Name to take authority and dominion over everything.

Understanding this truth gives you the confidence to live victoriously. You’re not just someone waiting for the future—you’re already a ruler and an heir with Christ. So don’t sit back—take action! Assert your authority in Christ and manifest His Kingdom on earth. Seize the opportunity accorded to us in the Church Age to rule over Satan, the forces and adversities of life. Demonstrate the power, love and righteousness of Christ in your world and spheres of influence.

Remember, you have your own world to impact, and you’ll be held accountable for what you did with the Kingdom that’s been conferred on you. So make sure you’re using His Name to bring His Kingdom to your sphere of influence today!

PRAY
Dear Father, thank you for your grace bestowed on me to reign in life through Jesus Christ. I walk in the authority and dominion of Christ, impacting my world with your power, love and righteousness, leading many into this same triumphant life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
