As God’s child, you belong to a very special place the Bible calls Zion, the city of the living God! It’s a beautiful city filled with light,joy, peace, and God’s presence. There’s no darkness there at all—because Jesus is the Light.
In the Bible, darkness represents things like sickness, confusion, unhappiness, fear, and
anything that’s not from God. But because you’re in Christ, none of those things have power over you. You’re a child of light!
So, every day, let God’s light shine through you—by your kindness, your joy, and the love of Jesus in your heart. And tell others about Jesus too, so they can become part of this
wonderful city of light!

Dear loving Father, thank you for making me part of your heavenly city. I shine with your glory, and I help others come into this beautiful city of light, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
