He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. (1 John 4:8)
Some people think love is just a feeling—like saying, “I love my best friend because she’s nice,” or “I love him because he helps me.” But real love is much more than that. True love isn’t based on how people act or look—it comes from God, because God is love!
When God looked at the world, He saw how valuable people are, even though many didn’t believe in Him or obey Him. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…” (John 3:16). God didn’t love the buildings or the trees—He loved people! Even when they did wrong things, He still saw their true worth and sent Jesus to save them.
That’s the kind of love God has put inside you. It’s called the God-kind of love, and it helps you see others the way He does. So, don’t love people only when they’re kind or friendly. Love everyone—because that’s how God loves you. When you see others through His eyes, you’ll realize that everyone is precious and valuable.

LET’S PRAY
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your love that sees beyond what people do or how they look. I choose to love others just like you love me—seeing their true value and treating them with kindness every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
