Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23
As God’s child, your heart is His special home! That’s why today’s memory verse tells you to guard your heart carefully and keep it full of good things.
In the Bible, God said about King David, “…I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will” (Acts 13:22). David loved God and wanted to please Him. That’s the kind of heart God wants you to have, too!
Don’t let anger, pride, or bad thoughts stay in your heart—they’re like weeds that try to push out God’s love. Instead, fill your heart with His Word, pray often, and speak kind, and loving words. Remember—your heart is God’s home, so keep it clean, full of love, and ready for Him to shine through you.

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
LET’S PRAY
Dear heavenly Father, by your Spirit and your Word, I keep my heart pure and filled with your love. Your goodness flows from me today and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
