LET’S TALK
In our previous study, we saw that in Christ we are filled with all the fullness of God. From the very moment of the new birth, the totality of His divine nature was imparted to us. We are complete in Him, replete with His life, wisdom, and glory.
However, just as a new born child is fully human at birth but must grow to maturity, so also the child of God must grow spiritually. Spiritual growth enables you to manifest the fullness of the God-life in you. The more spiritually mature you are, the more effectively you can fulfil God’s plan for your life. This is where many miss it. They wonder why certain results seem inconsistent in their lives. The answer is maturity. Some manifestations of the Spirit may occur occasionally, but for them to be sustained, spiritual growth is required.
The Word admonishes us: “…grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ” (Ephesians 4:15). Growth comes as you feed diligently on the Word, pray consistently, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Peter exhorts us, “As new born babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby” (1 Peter 2:2 KJV). Whilst this is accurate, growth is not by hearing only, but by doing the Word. James 1:22 says, “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only…” It is the Word you practise that abides in you and produces lasting transformation.
Therefore, recognise that you are already full of God. Now, give yourself to the Word and prayer so that His fullness in you may find full expression, bringing glory to His Name and producing enduring fruits for the Kingdom.

PRAY
Dear Father, thank you for imparting your divine nature to me at the New Birth. I commit to growing in the knowledge of your Word and walking in the Spirit every day. I walk in the full blessing of the Gospel, fulfilling your purpose for my life, as I grow in Christ, in and by the Word, consistent in fellowshipping with the Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
