TO THE BIBLE
Hebrews 10:25 NKJV
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
LET’S TALK
All through the Scriptures, God called His people to assemble before Him. These gatherings were not ordinary; they were moments of impartation, fellowship and transformation. The Church is God’s house, His ground and pillar of truth, where His Word is taught and His people are built and established in righteousness.
The Bible says, “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching” (Hebrews 10:25, NIV). These are the last days, and there is an urgency in the Spirit. Now, more than ever, you must be fervent about the things of God, especially your commitment to church.
Do not treat church attendance as optional. It is a divine instruction. In the house of God you are trained, aligned and equipped for life and godliness. You grow in the knowledge of Christ and are inspired to live out your calling.
Jesus said, “Search the Scriptures …” (John 5:39, NKJV), and Paul admonished, “Study to show yourself approved …” (2 Timothy 2:15, KJV). Church provides a rich atmosphere for the Word, worship, prayer and fellowship with other believers. It strengthens your faith and keeps you rooted in truth.
God’s pattern has not changed. In the Old Testament He commanded Israel to gather before Him. Today, the principle remains. Be consistent, committed and active in your local church—not drifting from place to place but planted.
Get involved. Be known. Walk in love with the brethren: “We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren …” (1 John 3:14, NKJV). Your presence matters. Your growth matters. The Spirit of God ministers to you in the assembly of the saints.
Prioritise church. Let it be your joy and honour to gather with God’s people and be transformed by His Word. Hallelujah!

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
1 Timothy 3:15
But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
PRAY
Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of belonging to your family. I commit myself to learning and living by your Word, presenting and making myself a committed member of a church family, and demonstrating your love to others. Your Word cultures me, and I walk in its light daily, bearing fruit that glorifies you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
