TO THE BIBLE:
Luke 21:25-26 KJV
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”

LET’S TALK
There are so many signs showing us where we are today and how close the world is to facing judgment. No matter where you are or what you’re doing, one thing is clear: Jesus is coming soon.

Some people believe it and are waiting for Him, while others don’t think He’s coming and live like it doesn’t matter. But the truth is that He is coming, and very soon too! The Bible says He’s coming for those “that love his appearing” (2 Timothy 4:8), those who are ready and excited to meet Him. Luke 12:37 says blessed are those who are waiting for His return. So, live every day like it could happen any minute! The Bible even says, “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump… the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1 Corinthians 15:52).

It’s been roughly two thousand years since Jesus ascended into Heaven, and everything the prophets said about His return is being fulfilled. Jesus Himself said, “Surely I come quickly” (Revelation 22:20). The world today is filled with the worst violence, cruelty, and inhumanity ever known to man, and the pressures of life are far greater today than ever before.

Therefore, don’t be caught off guard. Stay in Christ and live in His righteousness. Let your light shine ever so brightly in a dark and crooked world. Philippians 2:15-16 (NIV) charges us to be “…blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life…”

Make it your mission to share the Gospel with your time, energy, and resources, reaching as many people as possible. Begin the countdown from now and start living in expectation of the Lord’s return. Prepare yourself and prepare others because the Lord is coming soon!

PRAY
Dear Father, thank you for the blessing and ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life, who has sanctified me for your glory and keeps me in the path of righteousness. Thank you for the privilege of preaching and proclaiming the Gospel, turning many to righteousness, preparing them for your soon return, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
