Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. (Luke 2:8)
One quiet night in Bethlehem, shepherds were watching their sheep when suddenly the sky lit up with God’s glory! An angel appeared and said, “Don’t be afraid!” … “I bring you good news of great joy for everyone” (Luke 2:10 NLT)!
That Good News was the birth of Jesus, the Saviour! The angel told them where to find Him: wrapped in cloth, lying in a manger. Then the heavens filled with a choir of angels praising God: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men” (Luke 2:14).
That’s what Christmas is all about—Jesus came to show God’s love and bring peace to the world. And now that you’re in Christ, you’re part of this story. You’re His light, shining His love and spreading this Good News to everyone around you!

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
LET’S PRAY
Dear precious Father, thank you for your love, grace, and goodness towards me. I shine your light and spread your love everywhere I go, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
