TO THE BIBLE
DANIEL 3:24-25 NKJV
“Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?…Look!…I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”

LET’S TALK
Hey Jane, I heard you’ve been having some “challenges at school. How’re you holding up though?” Nelly, her cousin inquired with concern.

“You’d be surprised; I’m having a ball, actually. I’m not flustered at all; the Lord is my peace, and I’m assured of victory all the way,” Jane replied calmly.

The Bible tells us how Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into a fiery furnace. While in the furnace, they were unruffled. They didn’t even pray to God to bring them out of the fire; He joined them as “the fourth man in the fire.” How amazing that is!

It makes no difference what pressures and obstacles you face in life; what’s important is that the Lord is with you and in you. He’s your peace in the midst of the storm. Is there a situation that has made you fretful or given you sleepless nights? Relax, Jesus is your peace. He said in John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me you have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Can you see why, just like Jane, you should never be flustered by the adversary or any adversity that comes your way? The Lord already gave you victory and dominion over Satan and everything he’s capable of.

1 John 4:4 KJV says, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” Be ever mindful that the greater One lives in you; therefore, nothing can hurt or limit you. Expunge fear from your life by filling your heart with God’s Word.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

Philippians 4:6-7
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. [7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

SPEAK
God’s Word has brought me to a place of absolute victory and confidence. I live free of worry, agitation, tension, distress and confusion because Christ is my peace. Glory be to God!
