LET’S TALK
Christianity isn’t a religion; it’s the pulsating life ofGod in a human person. When you become a Christian, it means eternal life has been imparted to your spirit. You become God’s dwelling place. So, now that you’re born again, God has fully tabernacled in you! You’ve become His living headquarters. He looks through your eyes and walks with your legs. You’re a God-carrying vessel.
Talking about Jesus, the Bible says “…in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him…” (Colossians 2:9-10). Notice the tenth verse says “And you are complete in Him….” In other words, all of divinity resides in you. You’ve become God’s operating centre! You’re loaded with the maximum load of God. That’s what it means to be “complete in Him,” as rendered in the original Greek text. Nothing else needs to be done in you to make you as divine as God is divine, because He already lives in you in His fullness.
This is why sickness, diseases, and infirmities shouldn’t be part of your life. You have in you the genes of your heavenly Father. You’re as divine as God is divine. Basically, God’s power isn’t just for church or Sunday; it’s running through you all the time, even when you’re at school or hanging out with friends. You’re sufficient in His sufficiency (2 Corinthians 3:5); in other words, His abilities are at work in you. No wonder the Bible declares that you’re a partaker of His divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). Glory to God!
GO DEEPER
1 Corinthians 3:16
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1 Corinthians 6:19
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
2 Corinthians 6:16
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
SPEAK
I’m God’s dwelling place, His living headquarters and operating centre. He moves through me and talks through me. In Him I live, move and have my being. I’m a conveyor of eternal verities and a partaker of the divine nature. I can effect positive changes in my world because the greater One lives in me.
