For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit… Romans 1:9
To serve God with reverence means to serve Him with respect, love, and a sincere heart. He is not just someone we talk about; He is our loving Father, and He deserves our honor.
Paul in the Bible understood this very well. He said he served God with his spirit (Romans 1:9). That means he loved God from his heart and spirit, and lived every day to please Him.
As God’s child, you also should serve Him from your heart. Show reverence in the way you pray, speak, and behave. When you pray, remember you’re talking to your Heavenly Father. Be attentive and respectful, knowing He is always with you.
