LET’S TALK
I magine a master artist who spends a years creating a breathtaking masterpiece. If a speck of dust falls on the canvas, does the artist destroy the painting? No! He gently brushes it away because the flaw never outweighs the value of what he made.
Rest in God’s love. Quit all struggles and take advantage of God’s unfeigned and unconditional love for you. Even if life feels messy, maybe you’ve messed up or feel far from God, He’s still saying, “Rest in my love!” All you need do is repent and receive forgiveness. Once you do that, He’s quick to forgive you because it’s His nature to forgive.
The father of the prodigal son killed the best calf to celebrate his son’s return (Luke 15:21-23), showing God as an ever-forgiving and loving Father. He rejoices when His straying child returns. If you’ve been ignoring God or feeling distant, it’s time to come back. He’s waiting with open arms, not anger. He already took then hit for you through Jesus. All He wants is for you to rest in His love.
Let nothing separate you from God’s love, not even your mistakes. When you receive forgiveness, God receives you and sets you back on the right path. Confidence in God’s love grows as you spend time with Him—talking, studying the Word, acknowledging His work in your life. The more you know Him, the more joy and peace you’ll feel, even in chaos. His love follows you
everywhere. So, rest in His love today. He doesn’t look to punish you; He wants to embrace you.

PRAY
Dear Father, I rejoice for the great love wherewith you’ve loved me, and I’m grateful for your grace and tender mercies that encompass me each day. Through your Spirit, I’m able to comprehend the magnitude of your love, and to take advantage of it each day in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
