…As He is, so are we in this world. 1 John 4:17
The Bible tells us that Jesus shows us exactly what God is like. He is the exact picture of who God is (Hebrews 1:3). And here’s something amazing, God created us to look like Him too! Because as Jesus is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).
Jesus said, “…The glory You gave Me, I have given them…” (John 17:22). That means God’s glory is in you too; therefore, you’re not ordinary. God chose you to shine His light and show His goodness everywhere you go (1 Peter 2:9).
Therefore, every time you study God’s Word, it’s like looking into a mirror. It shows you who you really are; someone filled with God’s glory. Hallelujah!
