…He appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness… saying: “Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever.” 2 Chronicles 20:21
Praise is a powerful way to let God work in any situation.
When King Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah were surrounded by enemies, they didn’t fight with swords. Rather, they praised God. As they sang and worshipped Him, God caused their enemies to be defeated (2 Chronicles 20:20–37).
That’s the power of praise! When things look difficult, don’t complain or worry. Praise God instead. Sing, worship, and thank Him for His goodness. Paul and Silas did the same thing in prison, and God set them free! (Acts 16:25-26).
So don’t wait until you feel like singing. Lift your hands and praise the Lord, for His mercy never ends!

Psalm 145:1–5
I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. [2] Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. [3] Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. [4] One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. [5] I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.

I praise your Name, O Lord, and thank you for being so good to me. You are my Healer, my Helper, and my Provider. I’ll keep praising you always! Amen.
