Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
When the Bible says “pray without ceasing,” it doesn’t mean you must pray on your knees all day long. It means prayer should be an essential part of your everyday life.
Daniel understood this. He prayed to God three times every day, even when others tried to stop him (Daniel 6:10). Talking to God was part of how he lived.
You can do the same! You can pray when you wake up, on your way to school, before meals, or before a test. You can also pray with your family, siblings, or friends.
When we pray, we invite God’s power into every situation. Prayer stops the devil’s plans and causes God’s will to happen in our world. Hallelujah!

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
LET’S PRAY
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for teaching me to pray always. As I pray, your will is done on earth and in people’s hearts, in Jesus’Name. Amen.
