Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105
A lamp helps us see when it’s dark. We turn it on to show the way. The Bible says God’s Word is like a lamp that lights our path and helps us see clearly where to go: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105).
The Lord Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life” (John 8:12).
So, how do we follow Jesus? It’s simply by reading and doing what God’s Word says! When you read your Bible and Rhapsody of Realities for Early Readers, the Holy Spirit helps you understand His Word, and you’ll always know the right thing to do. That’s because God’s Word is a lamp.
