For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10
When you say, “I am God’s child,”or “I am the righteousness of God in Christ,” you’re not pretending. You’re agreeing with what God has already said about you in His Word.
The Bible says in Hebrews 13:5-6, “For He Himself has said…so we may boldly say…”This means God speaks first, and then we boldly say the same thing. When you keep saying what God says about you, His Word begins to shape the way you think and act.
And as you keep confessing God’s Word, your words and actions will begin to reflect Him every day.
