“For he made him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Have you ever swapped seats with a friend? That’s a little like what Jesus did for you—only what the Lord Jesus did was much greater!
The Bible says He took your place so you could take His place in righteousness. Long before it happened, the prophet Isaiah saw it in a vision: the Son of God would be wounded for our sins, beaten so we could be whole, and by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:4-6).
When He came, everything happened just as God planned. He was judged, beaten, and killed—all for you. His sacrifice made you right with God! Now, you live sin-free and enjoy God’s blessings every day through His resurrection. Glory to God!
