But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory. 1 Corinthians 2:7
Have you ever played a game where you tried to guess what someone was thinking? No one gets it right until the person says what’s on their mind.
That’s how it is with the devil. He can’t read your mind—he can only hear what you say. That’s why it’s so important to speak words of faith, not fear. In the Bible, the devil couldn’t harm Job and his family until Job spoke his fears. Job said, “For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, and what I dreaded has happened to me” (Job 3:25).
So, what should you do? Fill your heart with God’s Word. When your heart is full of His Word, you’ll speak the right words—words of faith, victory, and joy. Remember, “…For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks” (Luke 6:45). That’s how to stay ahead of the devil and live victoriously every day. Hallelujah!

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
LET’S PRAY
Thank you, precious Father, for giving me victory over the devil and all things. My heart is full of God’s Word, and I walk in strength and triumph each day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
