Have you ever had a surprise guest show up at your house? Imagine if your room was messy—you’d feel unprepared and probably rush to clean it up. That’s why Jesus told us to “be ready” for His return—because He’s coming again, and it could happen at any moment (Luke 12:40).
Some people live as if the Lord is never coming back, but the Bible tells us that He will. One day, Jesus will take with Him all those who believe in Him. This is called “the Rapture”, and it’ll happen suddenly— in a flash! (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
So, what should you do? Keep your heart full of love for Jesus. Stay excited about the things of God. Tell others about Him, and live everyday as someone who’s ready to meet the Lord. Don’t just wait—live ready! That’s the best way to prepare for the Lord’s return.

I live each day ready for the Lord’s return. I live to please and serve Him, share His love, and tell others about Him every day. Amen!
