Welcome to a brand-new year! Today is a fresh start to put God first in everything—your time, gifts, ideas, and even your money. Everything we have comes from the Lord, so the best use of it is what matters to Him.
Jesus said, “…Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). That means we begin this year with God’s priorities: loving Him, helping others know Him, and faithfully serving Him wherever we are—at home, in school, and at church.
When you choose God’s way first—praying, sowing money seed, serving, and sharing the Gospel—He takes care of everything that concerns you. That’s the assurance we have in His Word: “…and it shall be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). What a way to start the year—secure in God’s care!

Thank you, Lord, for blessing me with wisdom, and everything I need. This year, I put you first in all I do, using all you’ve given to me to help others know about you. Amen.
