When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. Isaiah 43:2
Sometimes, doing the right thing may not be easy. You might get laughed at, picked on, or even maltreated for following Jesus. But don’t worry—God is always with you!
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (Daniel 3) were three young men who stood firm for God. When the king told everyone to bow to a golden statue, they refused. They wouldn’t compromise their faith, even though it meant being thrown into a fiery furnace! But guess what? God was right there with them in the fire, and they came out unharmed.
You may not face a fire, but you might face peer pressure, teasing, or people trying to make you do wrong things. Stay strong! Jesus said He’ll always be with you (Matthew 28:20), and the Holy Spirit inside you gives you the power to say no to fear.
So, don’t back down. Stand for what’s right and trust God to always bring you through!

Daniel 3:16–18
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. [17] If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. [18] But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
LET’S PRAY
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for being with me always. I receive boldness by your Spirit to stand for what’s right, and I refuse to bow to fear or pressure. I shine brightly for Jesus every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
