“There was a man named Cornelius… who gave alms generously to the people, and prayed to God always”
(Acts 10:1-2).
Do you know that God loves givers? He notices when people give joyfully and from their hearts.
Cornelius, a Roman soldier in the Bible, was one of those people. Even though he wasn’t a Jew or a Christian yet, he gave to those in need and prayed every day. God saw his kindness and sent an angel to him! The angel told him to send for Peter, who came and shared the Gospel with him. Cornelius and everyone in his house believed in Jesus and were filled with the Holy Spirit (Read the full story in Acts 10).
That’s how powerful giving is—it opened the door for Cornelius and his family to be saved.
So, whether it’s your offering in church, helping a friend, or giving to someone in need, always give with joy. Don’t hold back. And guess what? God always remembers cheerful givers.

“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, [so let him give;] not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”

I give joyfully and generously, and God remembers my giving. I’m blessed to be a blessing everywhere I go!
