Pastor Chris
Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place… one of His disciples said to Him, ‘Lord, teach us to pray… Luke 11:1
Jesus often spent time praying. He talked with the Father with faith, knowing He was heard.
His disciples noticed this. They saw that Jesus prayed regularly and that His prayers made a difference. So, one day, they asked Him, “…Lord, teach us to pray…” (Luke 11:1). They wanted to learn how to talk to God the right way.
You can pray like Jesus, too. When you pray with faith and trust in God, your prayers make a difference. They bring changes, blessings, and grace to your life, and to others around you.
SCRIPTURE READING
Mark 11:24
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
LET’S PRAY
My prayers are powerful and effective. As I pray in faith, I see answers and positive changes in my life and in the lives of others, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
