Pastor Chris
Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen. Romans 15:33
Today’s memory verse calls the Lord “the God of peace.” When Jesus was born, the angels announced, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men” (Luke 2:14). This shows that peace is God’s plan for the world.
Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you…” (John 14:27). His peace isn’t like the world’s peace—it comes from Him and lives in you.
That’s why the Bible tells us to pray for everyone (1 Timothy 2:1–2). As you pray, you release God’s peace into your world.
So, speak peace over your family, school, city, and nation every day.
SCRIPTURE READING
1 Timothy 2:1-2
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; [2] For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
LET’S PRAY
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your peace. I pray for the nations of the world that your peace will reign everywhere. I declare peace over cities, communities, schools, and families. Your peace prevails, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
