LET’S TALK
Modern aircraft can track their position within metres using satellites thousands of kilometres above the earth. Without that guidance, even the most powerful plane could easily lose its way. In the same way, life without direction leaves many people uncertain about the future.
As one who is born again, never find yourself anxious about the future, especially when it comes to school, career choices, or your purpose in life. The Lord Jesus said, “When the Holy Spirit, who is truth, comes, he shall guide you into all truth…He will tell you about the future” (John 16:13 TLB). The man without the Holy Spirit is the one who should be uncertain about his future, for he’s like an aeroplane without a pilot, or a ship without a captain, lost at sea, bobbing up and down in the water. Such a person is walking in darkness, without a sense of direction.
But if you’re born again, you can be certain that your future is a bright and prosperous one. You don’t have to panic about “what’s next” or compare your journey with others. Life doesn’t have to be mysterious anymore because the Holy Spirit has come to guide you and bring the future into your present. The Psalmist said, “You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore” (Psalm 16:11).
By yourself, you can’t know the path of life that brings success, joy, victory and prosperity, but the Holy Spirit has come to lead you into that path. He knows how to take you through life’s journey and make you a success, for He sees the end from the beginning. Recognise Him as the One called to guide you in life, and He will show you visions of the future. Let go of the “trial and error” life and let the Holy Spirit have His way in you. You don’t have to “guess” your life; He helps you choose wisely. He has come to show you the higher life, where your future is a settled fact .

PRAY
Precious Holy Spirit, I thank you for your ministry in my life. I thank you for opening my eyes to see the sure paths you’ve prepared for me to walk in. Thank you for opening my heart to receive visions from you as I yield myself completely to your guidance, counsel and wisdom in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
