As God’s child, the friends you choose are important. God cares about the people you spend time with, because He wants you to grow strong and live an excellent life. That’s why the Bible warns us about bad company: “…bad company corrupts good behavior”; (1 Corinthians 15:33).
Look at Daniel. Even though he lived among people who didn’t honor God, he chose friends who loved God and made wise decisions (Daniel 1:8-17). Because of that, he had good company to pray with.
So, choose friends who love God, encourage you to do what is right, and grow in His Word. Good friends help you shine brighter for Jesus every day!
