Jesus is alive forever, and He is the One with all authority. The Bible teaches us that Jesus obeyed God completely, even when it was tough. Because of His obedience, God gave Him the highest honour and greatest power.
After Jesus died and rose again, He completely defeated the devil. This means Jesus now has the keys of hell and death. Hallelujah! The devil is no longer in control; Jesus is! Isn’t that amazing?
Guess what? That power and authority reside with you now that you’re in Christ! Therefore, you don’t have to be afraid of anything or anyone. “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you “(Luke 10:19). Hallelujah!
