“Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice” (Ephesians 4:31).
God gave you a pure heart the moment you were born again. But it’s your responsibility to keep your heart pure. That’s why the Bible says, “…now you yourselves are to put off all these; anger, wrath, malice…” (Colossians 3:8). Because wrath, anger, and malice would defile your pure heart.
No matter what your friend or anyone says or does, choose to live instead. Love doesn’t hold grudges, isn’t jealous, and doesn’t keep track of wrongs (1 Corinthians 13:5).
So, don’t allow anger, jealousy, and bitterness in your heart; rather, fill your heart with God’s love for people, and learn to forgive easily. That’s how to maintain a pure heart!

I do not keep anger or bad feelings in my heart, because the love of God is in my spirit. Therefore, I express love and kindness to everyone at all times. Amen.
