Not lagging diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord
Romans 12:11
Being on fire for the Lord means being full of passion and love for the Lord and for spiritual things. Just like a fire needs more wood to keep burning, your love for God also needs to be fed everyday.
So, how do you keep your fire glowing? The answer is in Ephesians 5:18-20 “…be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
That means you should pray often—for your friends, family, and everyone at your school — study your Bible, talk to others about the Lord, and have a heart of thanksgiving. This is how you stay on fire for the Lord.
