“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you…” (Isaiah 26:3).
God wants you to enjoy a life full of peace—no panic, worry, or fear. Sometimes, when things feel tough, your heart may feel troubled. But when you fill your heart with God’s Word, it’ll be filled with peace.
Remember the story of Daniel in the lions’ (Daniel 6). Even though he was surrounded by lions, Daniel stayed calm because he trusted God completely, and God gave him perfect peace right in the middle of danger.
When you feel confused, worried about school, or upset about something, don’t let fear take over your thoughts. Rather, remember God’s Word. The Bible says that God gives perfect peace to those who trust Him (Isaiah 26:3).
So, choose to trust God by fixing your mind on His Word every day. When you do, God’s peace will fill your heart—no matter what’s happening around you.
SCRIPTURE READING
Philippians 4:6-7
“[6] Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. [7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
LET’S PRAY
Dear loving Father, thank you for your Word. As I meditate on it, I’m at peace in every situation. I’m strong and able to do all things, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
