And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor. (Joshua 6:2)
Did you know that when God tells you to do something, He also shows you how to do it?
That’s what happened to Joshua. God told him that he would defeat the city of Jericho—even before the battle started! But Joshua still had to do things God’s way.
God gave Joshua a special plan. He told him and the people to walk around the city once every day for six days. On the seventh day, they walked around it seven times. When they shouted, the walls fell!
Joshua listened to God and followed His plan; and God gave him a great victory (Joshua 11:8-9).
This teaches us something important: when we pray, listen to God, and do what He says, everything works out well. God’s plan is always the best!

LET’S PRAY
Dear heavenly Father, thank you because you have good plans for me. Help me to listen to you and do things your way every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
