God loves you very much, and He wants to be first in your life. That means loving Him, praying, reading your Bible, and telling others about Jesus.
Don’t allow school, games, and fun activities take all your attention. God wants you to think about Him and talk to Him every day. When you talk to Him, listen to His Word, and obey Him, you make Him happy.
Joshua told God’s people to keep following the Lord, and not copy wrong things around them (Joshua 23:7–8). When they forgot God, they got into trouble. That teaches us always to choose God first.
When you put God first, He helps you in everything you do. Hallelujah!
