“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you” (Luke 11:9)._
God already knows everything, your need—even before you ask Him. But He still wants you to ask. Why? Because prayer isn’t only about asking for things; it’s one of the ways we stay connected to God and enjoy fellowship with Him.
Think about your best friend. You don’t talk to them only when you need something. You talk to them because you enjoy their company. That’s how God wants it to be with you! Prayer helps your heart stay connected to Him every day.
Jesus said we should ask so we can receive (Matthew 7:7). That means God is always ready to answer you. He loves it when you come to Him boldly, trusting that He hears you.
So, whenever you pray, talk to God with joy and confidence. Ask in faith and expect to receive. Hallelujah!
