Let my prayer be set before you as incense, the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. Psalm 141:2
Do you know that lifting your hands to God is a special way to worship Him? When you raise your hands, you’re showing that you love and
honour Him. It’s a sign of faith and surrender.
In the Bible, people like Daniel and King Solomon lifted their hands when they prayed to God. Even Jesus lifted His hands to bless others! So when you lift your hands during prayer or singing, you’re doing something very powerful.
God loves it when you worship Him with your whole heart and that includes lifting your hands. Each time you do, His presence fills you with joy and peace.
